To date, 35 landowners have intimated their willingness to participate in the life annuity scheme. Of these, 20 have completed the sale of their lands to the Land Commission and are already in receipt of life annuities; in the remaining 15 cases, the sales of the individual properties to the Land Commission are nearing completion and the life annuities will be set up immediately the sales are closed.
