I have publicly expressed my thanks to the many employers who had employees called up for service and who despite inconvenience are keeping their jobs open for them on their return in due course.
In any case in which it was represented that the call-out jeopardised the employment, seniority or promotion prospects of a member of the first line reserve, exemption from service was granted.
