The present wage rates of agricultural labourers are specified in the Agricultural Wages (Minimum Rates) Order, 1969. The rates payable are specified by age of worker for different regions of the country.
The present weekly minimum rates of wages payable to male agricultural workers aged 20 years and over are £12 in Area A, £11 12s in Area B and £11 5s in Area C.
