asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware that for more than two months serious hardship is being suffered by a number of residents of Tonlagee Road, Raheny, because no access to their houses from the front is available; and that no redress for this situation has been obtainable from Dublin Corporation; and whether he proposes to take any action in the matter.

This is a matter for Dublin Corporation. I understand that this is a case where there was pressure for maximum and speedy housing development and at the same time for road improvement and that temporary inconvenience to residents is regrettably unavoidable.
