Vol. 244 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary Housing.

50.

asked the Minister for Local Government the number in need of housing in Cashel, County Tipperary; and what steps are being taken to provide houses for these people.

In March, 1968, the housing authority estimated that a total of 80 dwellings, including both private and local authority dwellings, would need to be provided in Cashel in the period ending on 31st March, 1971. I have approved the urban district council's plans to provide 27 developed sites for private houses and a site for 15 local authority dwellings is being acquired by them at present.

The remaining questions will appear on tomorrow's Order Paper.
