Last week, during what appeared to be an attempt to disrupt a Deputy's maiden speech, while the House was adjourned pending the attendance of a quorum, I referred to Deputy Fox as a B Special. As I understand that the Deputy has denied this, I wish to withdraw the remark. I was aware at the time that the House was adjourned and I believed it was not the practice to report remarks made in these circumstances.
Personal Explanation by Minister.
Further to the Minister's statement does the Minister wish to apologise to the Deputy?
There can be no discussion on the Minister's statement. Will the Deputy please resume his seat?
Deputies
Chair, Chair.
He had to come in and make a statement. Leave him alone.
