Vol. 246 No. 10

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 14, 1, 3, 4, 15 and 16.

Has the Taoiseach any idea of the business we may expect for the rest of the session?

There are some Bills and Estimates to be taken, the Budget debate to be completed as soon as possible and the Finance Bill to follow as soon as possible. If the Deputy will give me notice——

Is the Taoiseach contemplating any major legislation apart from what is on the Order Paper now?

I could not say offhand. I will examine the situation between now and next week.

Will the Criminal Justice Bill be taken this session?

It is likely to be re-introduced but I cannot say exactly when.

Would the Taoiseach describe it as a period of convalescence for the Government?

No. Vigorous pursuit of our policy.

They are still not ready for convalescence.

Rehabilitation.

A Deputy

There are some people going around with a raging fever.
