asked the Minister for Education if he will now sanction the provision of an assembly hall for the vocational school to be built in the near future in Walkinstown, County Dublin.

The provision of an assembly hall at each of these schools has been approved in principle and will be provided at a later stage. The magnitude of the building programme involved in catering for the vastly increased numbers seeking school places is such that priority has to be given to the provision of classroom accommodation.
