asked the Minister for Education if, with reference to his statement on 1st July, 1970 that about 90 per cent of the examiners had teaching experience, he will state how many of those now appointed to examine the leaving certificate papers now have (a) teaching experience up to leaving certificate level, and (b) any post-primary experience.

asked the Minister for Education if he will state in respect of the various subjects how many of those originally appointed to examine at leaving certificate level in fact attended the examiners conferences.

12.

asked the Minister for Education how many of the additional supervising examiners to which he referred in his reply of 1st July, 1970 attended the normal examiners conferences at leaving certificate level.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 10, 11 and 12 together. For the reasons given in my reply of the 7th inst to a previous question from the Deputy in relation to this matter, I am satisfied that no useful purpose would be served by my furnishing the information now being sought by the Deputy.
