Details of the 12th round pay settlement for the public service have not yet been officially announced. It has been the practice to extend general public service pay increases to the Defence Forces.

Are we to assume that the increases which have been negotiated—and I was surprised to hear the Minister say that they have not been anannounced—will apply together with the increases which have been announced by the Minister in this morning's paper?
