asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the customs and excise duty expressed as a percentage of certain retail prices as of May, 1970, in respect of cigarettes, petrol, whiskey, and draught stout.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the amount of tax paid at present to the Exchequer by the purchaser of (a) a packet of 20 cigarettes (standard size), (b) 1 ounce of tobacco (plain), (c) 1 gallon of petrol (premium), (d) 1 pint of draught stout and (e) 1 glass of Irish whiskey.
