Vol. 248 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Hospital Site.

5.

asked the Minister for Health what plans his Department have for the disposal of the hospital site at Navan Road, Dublin.

Consideration of the proposals for the reorganisation and development of the general hospital services in North Dublin have not yet reached the stage when a definite decision could be taken about the disposal of site at Navan Road.

Is the Minister aware that recently very serious damage was caused on the site by an excavator which fractured a 24-inch water main, and that this resulted in the whole north-west of Dublin being deprived of water?

I heard of the incident but no representations have been made to my Department about it.
