The estimated total cost of maintaining embassies and other diplomatic missions abroad for the year ended 31st March, 1970, is contained in Estimate 45 of the Book of Estimates for 1969-70. The Appropriation Accounts when published will show actual expenditure for the year in question, which was very close to the amount estimated.
