At 30th June last, Dublin Corporation had, in their weekly tenancy programme, a total of 1,544 dwellings under construction and 5,448 dwellings in planning—including dwellings which were ready to be started, or were at tender stage. They had acquired or were in process of acquiring sites for another 5,460 dwellings. In addition they had, at that date, 920 purchase-type houses under construction, 849 more in planning, and had acquired land for a further 4,000 building sites.
