asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries the volume of landings of (a) shellfish, (b) demersal and (c) pelagic fish in the State up to 1st July from 1st January, 1969 and 1970.

Figures are at present available for 1970 only up to the end of April. The following table shows landings from 1st January to 30th April in 1969 and 1970, and also for the period 1st January to 30th June, 1969 (col. 2):—
