The latest information available relates to March, 1970. The index number of the price of fertilisers to base 1953=100 was 72.8 in March, 1965, and 83.7 in March, 1970, a rise of 15 per cent. The corresponding index number for the price of seeds was 115.5 in March, 1965, and 146.7 in March, 1970, an increase of 27 per cent.
Corresponding information is not available on the prices of animal medicines.
