No decision has been taken on the question of establishing a central employment exchange in Dublin city.
Would the Minister not consider this central employment exchange very necessary since employers and employees alike deserve the best professional help that can be given to them in an employment agency? The provision of such a central exchange would help considerably.
I do not think it would be any greater convenience to have one exchange. The matter has been under discussion for some time. I should imagine the suitable location of properly staffed placement offices would be much more important.
