Total amount lodged to the credit of the Road Fund in the financial year 1969-70 was £12,000,654; the amount collected by Dublin Corporation, which is the licensing authority for the city and the county including Dún Laoghaire, was £4,643,490; and the amount paid in grants out of the Road Fund to Dublin Corporation, Dún Laoghaire Corporation and Dublin County Council was £1,193,306.
