Arrangements were made by my Department to receive a deputation from the County Dublin Vocational Education Committee to discuss the proposed provision of post-primary facilities in the Tallaght area but the deputation later found that they were unable to attend on the date appointed for the purpose. Arrangements are being made to fix another date.
Is it not true that when I went to see the Minister before the House went into Recess this was then the position, and the Minister promised me he would see them in September because they would be on holidays in August?
My information is that the date for the appointment did not suit them and we are to arrange another date. That was the position.
