The net receipt of turnover tax in 1964-65 was £13,419,005. In 1969-70 the net receipt of turnover tax was £20,342,700 and of wholesale tax was £20,222,465. For 1970-71 the estimated receipt of turnover tax is £43,250,000 and of wholesale tax is £25,550,000.
