I am advised by Bord Fáilte that no major change in the role of these organisations is necessary or contemplated, but it is to be expected that as new or altered needs emerge in tourism, the activities of the regional organisations will be adapted as necessary consistent with the growth of the capacity and resources of the organisations and the interests of the tourist industry.
