The cost of Christmas cards officially provided for the Minister for Defence in 1969 was £38 15s; postage was provided free and the cost was approximately £28. This year the cost of cards on order is estimated at £170 and postage will be provided free.
Christmas cards for the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Defence were not provided or posted by my Department in 1969 nor are they being provided or posted by my Department this year.
