I am informed by the ESB that householders in the Dromulton locality, which is in the Killentierna rural area, have already had an opportunity of accepting supply under the Rural Electrification Planned Post Development Programme. This programme is proceeding on a planned basis, area by area, so as to ensure that the available resources are utilised to the best possible extent. It is expected that the programme will be completed by 1975; in the meantime, a further opportunity of accepting supply will be offered to unconnected householders in the Dromulton locality, but on the present basis of working, the ESB do not envisage that this can be done before 1974.
