The current basic scales of remuneration of the general attendant staff at the Central Mental Hospital, effective from 1st January, 1971, are as follows:—
Male Attendants: A minimum of 412s per week rising by eight varying annual increments to a maximum of 601s per week.
Female Attendants: A minimum of 365s per week rising by eight varying annual increments to a maximum of 529s per week.
Negotiations on conditions of employment are conducted through the Civil Service Conciliation and Arbitration Scheme.
