In 1970, 1.3 per cent of the total value of imported crude petroleum originated in Libya, 8.6 per cent in Iraq, 32.3 per cent in Saudi Arabia, 33.0 per cent in Kuwait, 21.7 per cent in Iran and 3.1 per cent in other countries. There were no imports of crude petroleum from Algeria or Nigeria.
