(a) The last issue of the bound debates of Dáil Éireann covers the period 21st January, 1969 to 6th March, 1969, and in the case of Seanad Éireann, the period 29th May, 1968, to 30th July, 1968; (b) the Dáil Debates in question were published on 16th December, 1970, and the Seanad Debates on 11th November, 1970; (e) the last bound volume of Acts of the Oireachtas comprises the Acts passed in 1969; (d) the volume in question was published on 10th March, 1971.
Would the Minister say if this was the practice down through the years or have we been lagging behind recently in the issue of the bound volumes and the Acts?
I think we are a bit behind at the moment but not excessively so. There have been occasions in the past when we have been further behind.
Is it for the same reason?
I do not know that.
