Vol. 253 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Aid to Dublin Company.

36.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce what State grants, loans or other Government help of any kind have been afforded to a company in Dublin (name supplied); and what the present position of the company is.

An adaptation grant of £9,939 has been paid by the Industrial Development Authority to the company mentioned by the Deputy and grants totalling £168 were paid to the company under the technical assistance grants scheme administered by my Department. No other financial assistance has been afforded to the company by my Department or bodies under my auspices.

As the company is a private enterprise, I cannot make any comment on its position as was requested in the last part of the question.
