I am informed by the ESB that the three householders referred to by the Deputy were recently quoted terms for supply. One householder intimated that he was not prepared to accept and, as the original terms were dependent on all three accepting, the board quoted revised terms to the other two householders, who have not yet indicated acceptance or rejection.
I understand that if the householders accept the terms and have their houses wired, supply can be extended within six to eight weeks.
