asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state in relation to an application from a dairy products factory at Listowel, County Kerry, what the present position is regarding the award of a grant.

I am informed that the Industrial Development Authority are at present engaged in negotiations with the promoters of the industry in question. As these negotiations are confidential, I cannot give any further information at this stage.
