Vol. 253 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Donegal Drainage.

3.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will consider making money available towards the cleaning of the Culdaff river in County Donegal.

The cleaning of the Culdaff river could only be undertaken by the Commissioners of Public Works as part of a comprehensive drainage scheme under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945, for the catchment as a whole. The Culdaff catchment is noted for consideration under the Act but due to priorities and present commitments it is not possible to say when it may be reached.
