As I stated in reply to a question of the 1st June, an informal committee was set up by the Government to plan and organise the national commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Truce, and its first meeting took place on the 18th January last. No cost arose in relation to the meetings of the committee. In view of the nature of the committee's work, the necessity for a formal report does not arise.
