While no formal application has been received from the county council I understand that there have been discussions between their representatives and the local Land Commission inspector. The application for a site as an extension to the existing cemetery at Killeshin will be fully considered in connection with the disposal of lands in the possession of the Land Commission in the area and for which allotment plans are at present being drafted. The present position is that the inspectors are awaiting a map from the council delineating the actual lands required.
