asked the Minister for Labour if he has been informed of impending redundancy in a firm in County Dublin (name supplied); the total number of employees concerned; and what arrangements are being made to provide alternative employment.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Firm Redundancies.
16.
The firm employs 62 workers. Redundancy notices in respect of 25 workers—15 men and ten women— have been received in my Department. The national manpower service have been in touch with the firm and have arranged to interview the workers with a view to finding other jobs for them. The same arrangements will be made for any further workers who may be given notice later. The firm themselves hope to provide employment for some of the workers at another site.
