The position in this area has been examined by the advisory council for the Cork city area and by my Department. It is considered that there is no immediate need for another post-primary school in the area but that there will be need for increased provision in the future when enrolments in the Ursuline Convent, Blackrock, and the Presentation Brothers, Douglas, reach their optimum level. The position will be kept under review.
