This proposal was submitted originally to my Department on the 25th September, 1970. Following submission and approval of a proposal to accept a tender for the scheme the loan has been sanctioned.
Can the Minister state when the loan was sanctioned?
The question asks when a proposal to sanction a loan was submitted. I have told the Deputy that it has been sanctioned. It was sanctioned last week.
Would the Minister not agree that from September, 1970, to last week was a rather long delay? Is that the standard delay in his Department?
The Minister does not agree.
