1. Current Rate of Export Subsidy:
The amount of Exchequer subsidy currently being paid on Irish butter sold in the UK is approximately £265 per ton. This comprises the Exchequer milk price allowance and quality bonus as well as the Exchequer contribution towards Bord Bainne's export losses.
