The start of works awaits the acquisition of a necessary piece of ground by the Donegal County Council.
There is no other holdup whatever?
There is no other holdup.
The money and operatives are available?
There is money available for slipway, boatyards, extension and widening of the pier. The work will be done when the necessary piece of ground has been acquired.
They will not all be done on the one piece of ground, I take it?
The Office of Public Works have been in touch with the county council at regular intervals and they inform me the matter is well advanced.
