The corrected final proofs of the report in question were returned to the printers on the 12th instant and the printed copies, will, I expect, be available to my Department in the next week or so.
There has been no special reason for delay in printing the report but, as the Deputy may be aware, I may if I wish include my comments on the report when I am having it printed. The examination process in this respect was unusually delayed because of pressure of other work in my Department—I am not, incidentally, making any comments in the report—and the printing process has taken rather longer than expected. I should perhaps add, in this regard, that the council's report for the year ended 31st March, 1971, is expected from the printers in a few weeks.
