The first part of the reply is in the form of a tabular statement which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report.
I understand that the trade unions are in negotiation with CIE at present about improvements to both the wages grade and salaried officers and clerks superannuation schemes. Any proposals to amend the superannuation schemes will have to be submitted to me for approval under the provisions of the Transport Act, 1950.
