The local authority were requested by letter dated the 18th January, 1971, to submit further information in relation to the Oldcastle water supply improvement scheme as proposed. A reply to that letter is awaited. With regard to the proposed sewerage improvement scheme, a revised preliminary report was submitted to my Department on the 12th July last and further documentation was submitted on the 14th December and is under examination. I cannot say at this stage when a decision thereon will issue to the local authority.
