asked the Minister for Justice what additional staff will be accredited to the Dublin Circuit Court office and to the Dublin Metropolitan Court office to meet the increased volume of work in these offices consequent on the increased jurisdiction of those courts.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Courts Staffs.
It is not possible at this stage to say what staff, if any, will be required by these offices consequent on the increased jurisdiction of the Circuit and District courts. It will be at least several months before the impact of the increased jurisdictions on the offices can be assessed.
Apart altogether from the increased jurisdictions, the volume of business in these offices has increased in recent years and the staffing requirements of the offices are being examined in the light of that increase.
