Vol. 263 No. 3

Written Answers. - Insurance Card.

448.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare what action his Department has taken in the case of a person (name supplied) in Cork whose employers have failed to return her insurance card.

Following a complaint on 4th September, 1972, by the person named that her social insurance card for 1970-71, which should have been surrendered in July, 1971, had not been stamped, the insured person was interviewed by an officer of my Department and inquiries were made at the Limerick and Dublin offices of her employers.

The card, fully stamped, has now been received and all benefit due on a claim to disability benefit made by the person concerned on 9th October, 1972, has been paid.
