The degrees towards which the relevant courses to be provided in the Institute for Higher Education at Limerick will be geared will be those awarded by the National Council for Educational Awards. I have no reason to believe that the council will not take all necessary steps to ensure that their degrees will be comparable in standard with those awarded by the universities.
