During the last two years I visited the following countries: Canada from 13th to 19th March, 1971, for trade promotion purposes; Italy from 16th to 20th May, 1971, to study regional development; West Germany and Bulgaria from 18th to 28th September, 1971, for export promotion purposes; Belgium from 25th to 28th September, 1972, for consultation on EEC matters at Ministerial and Commissioner level; Japan from 1st to 8th October, 1972, and Sweden from 13th to 15th November, 1972, for industrial promotion purposes.
IDA representatives accompanied me on my visits to Japan and Sweden.
