The Port and Docks Board's studies are intended to provide a basis for examination of future development of the port. It is the intention of the board to take into account the views of all interested parties on the studies before formulating any definitive plans. Any such plans which eventually emerge will fall to be dealt with under the procedures laid down in planning legislation or foreshore legislation as appropriate.
