I understand that, in addition to the project already announced, the IDA is examining one formal application for grant from a firm interested in establishing a manufacturing operation at Ardfinnan. The application was received on 9th April and is due to be considered shortly by the IDA Board. It is not possible to say when or if the application will be approved.
The IDA is also considering a number of inquiries from promoters interested in Ardfinnan. In two of these outline proposals have been received, but these are not sufficiently developed to be regarded as applications for grants.
