I am not called upon to comment on allegations of the kind mentioned by the Deputy where there has been no suggestion of any impropriety by any concern operating here. I understand, however, that a large multinational corporation, with worldwide subsidiaries, has been mentioned in connection with the fund referred to in the question. This corporation has subsidiary companies in business in Ireland and Britain. I should make it absolutely clear that no suggestion has come to my attention that these Irish and British affiliates have been in any way involved in the fund in question.
