asked the Minister for Education if he will confirm that there is no alteration from the property shown on the map issued by the development branch in respect of Coolmine community school, County Dublin.

Mr. R. Burke

The exact boundaries of the school site which is being acquired from Dublin County Council have not yet been finalised. It is anticipated that the site will consist of the area shown on the map referred to together with additional land which is being sought.

Is the Minister aware that the principal of the community school and the board of management have had intimation that the existing building and adjoining grounds may be taken from them by the council?

Mr. R. Burke

I am aware that the county council are seeking to do so. My Department are handling that situation and we are taking steps to stop it if we can.

8.

asked the Minister for Education when the contract for the extension of the Sallynoggin Vocational School, County Dublin will be signed; if he is aware that three prefabricated units are now in use and that a further four temporary units will be needed shortly; and if he will expedite the matter.

9.

asked the Minister for Education the plans that are available for an extension to the Sallynoggin Vocational School, County Dublin.

Mr. R. Burke

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 8 and 9 together.

Tenders for an extension to this school have been approved by my Department recently and it is hoped that it will be ready for occupation in September, 1974.

Any extra accommodation which may be required pending the completion of the extension will be provided by way of mobile prefabricated classrooms.
