There is no information in my Department regarding this matter.
In view of the long delay that has been occasioned as a result of the omission of the local authorities, could the Minister enquire from this local authority whether there is any special reason why, seeing that the old procedure which is there to speed things up has been in abeyance for the last four years and they have done sweet Fanny Adams about it?
I will do that but they informed me on 2nd July that there are no proposals before the Department for the compulsory acquisition of land for the purpose of improvements to the Shadanavoohogue Pier.
