asked the Minister for Justice the reason for the delay in the Land Registry in having title granted to a person (name supplied); and if, in view of the fact that this person cannot have a loan approved by Dublin County Council in respect of a house which he is anxious to build on the land in question until title is granted, he will expedite the matter.

The general question of delays in the Land Registry was dealt with by me in reply to a Parliamentary Question on this subject, which I answered on 23rd May, 1973. Registration of the holding referred to by the Deputy was completed on 7 May, 1973, and a land certificate was issued on 15 June, 1973.
